The crew of the so-called Elite Heavy Tanks are the best of the brightest of the Veteran Heavy tank crews and then some. Each one is given access to various supplies for modifying and maintaining their tank to best serve the battle at hand. In addition, each crew member is capable of being a venerable leader when it comes to commanding their veteran and grunt counterparts. These Armored battle masters are often deployed to supposedly lost campaigns to bring about a swift victory. It has been said that three Soviet armored advances were stopped dead in their tracks against half a battalion of Elite heavy tanks. A much wilder (but not unfounded) rumor has it that each elite heavy tank rammed a Hammer Walker and dragged its hulls as a shield while other tanks supported from a distance.
