The Dozer Tank is a tool once used for colonization that the Latin Junta are very grateful to utilize during their revolution. Named for its dozing blades, the Dozer Tank was originally a land clearance vehicle that would be sent in once explorers had found a site for a potential colony. The dozer blades can clear any organic debris meanwhile the forward mounted howitzer cannon is capable of blasting through larger more solid obstacles such as boulders. Such a tank would normally return to the homeland of the founding nation, but in the case of the South American colonies, the tanks stayed since they were highly effective at keeping the tribal natives at bay. They couldn’t use it to thin their number since they would all scarper before the sight of it, but that alone meant the colonies could exist peacefully simply by parking a Dozer Tank in its vicinity.

The Dozer Tank was designed for situations where the clearance vehicles needed to be solid enough to protect against any native onslaught, such as the Amazonian tribesmen’s in this instance. Intended to allow for more momentum and force than battle tanks, the chassis is much lower and wider, making it look uncannily like a tank destroyer. This is not a coincidence however since the design takes much influence from the German Hetzer tank destroyer, so much so that the removing the howitzer armament was completely overlooked despite not being a commonly used tool in land clearance. Its usefulness in boulder destruction meant that many were glad for its inclusion.

The tank destroyer origins have been highly practical for the Latin Junta. The howitzer means that it is highly capable at sniping armored targets, meanwhile its maneuverability and dozer blades means that it can also mow down infantry. The low hull and frontal dozing blades also make it harder to score a direct penetrative hit on the tank, despite already being a tough nut to crack. If the driver does intend to leave his position and ram some infantry targets, it would take a hell of a lot to stop it getting there.
